Wari Club, Karwan Bazar post win in BCL
DHAKA, June 3, 2021 (BSS)- Wari Club and Karwan Bazar Pragati Sangha won their respective matches of the Bangladesh Championship League Football held today.
At Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium, Wari Club blanked Dhaka City Football Club Limited by 2-0 goals with Ali and Arafat scored one goal each for the winners’ in the 36th and 43rd minutes respectively.
At Bangabandhu National Stadium, Karwan Bazar Pragati Sangha, came from behind, registered a 2-1 goal victory over Fakirerpool Youngmen’s Club.
In the day’s match, Saddam scored both the goals for Karwan Bazar in the 54th and 90+4th minutes while Kankar Biswas scored a lone goal for Fakirerpool early in the 9th minute of the match.
