Chief whip releases fish fries at JS lake
DHAKA, July 23, 2018 (BSS) -Chief Whip ASM Feroz today urged authorities concerned to provide bank loan for the fishermen to meet their financial crisis.
“Bank loan for the fishermen, like the farmers, will help mitigate their financial crisis,” he said while releasing fish fries at the lake in the Parliament Jatiya Sangsad complex here on the occasion of National Fisheries Week-2018.
He also called upon the fisheries and livestock ministry to take necessary steps to increase the activities of Vulnerable Group Feeding (VGF) and Vulnerable Group Development (VGD).
The chief whip released 8,400 fish fries of Rui, Katla and Mrigel at the JS lake.
Chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on Liberation War Affairs Ministry ABM Tajul Islam, MP, senior officials of fisheries and livestock ministry and parliament secretariat among others, were present on the occasion.
