BFTI signs MoU to promote ‘Made in Bangladesh’ campaign

DHAKA, JUNE 2, 2021 (BSS) – Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) signed aMemorandum of Understanding with CNN International Commercial (CNNIC) to promote different export sectors of Bangladesh globally.

The ‘Made in Bangladesh’ campaign on CNN network will be implemented by BFTI through the direct supervision of a Steering Committee formed under the Ministry of Commerce.

This campaign coordination and fund management will be executed by Spellbound Communications Limited, the local facilitation agency of CNN in Bangladesh in the name of Spellbound Leo Burnett.

At the signing ceremony, the CEO of BFTI, Md. Obaidul Azam said in his speech, “CNN’s impact and acceptance to the global audience is unparalleled. Through the quality contents created by CNN’s expert team and promoted in the CNN network, we believe the industrial sectors’ growth support will be ensured to empower the export competitiveness of these industries and Bangladesh as a whole.”

He also invited the private sector organizations, companies, chambers to come forward and take this opportunity to promote their brands under the platform.

The agreement signing ceremony was attended by Abhijeet Dhar, Director (Sales, CNNIC), and other representatives from CNNIC through Zoom Platform, representatives from Spellbound and officials from BFTI.
