Sub-registrar offices earn Tk 1,354cr in revenue in March-April
DHAKA, June 2, 2021 (BSS) – Sub-registrar’s offices across the country have earned Taka 1,354 crore in revenue in March-April, 2021. Of the total amount, the revenue income in the month of March was Taka 950, 97, 93,275.
“The sub-registrar offices have earned Taka 403.46 crore in the month of April,” a law ministry press release said.
Inspector general of Directorate of Registration (DoR) Shahidul Alam Jhinuk through a letter on June 1 informed this to Law and Justice Division Secretary Md Golam Sarwar.
“A total of 4, 79,340 deeds were registered in all the sub-registrar offices across the country in March and April, of which 3, 51,315 deeds were registered in March and 1, 28,025 deeds were registered in April,” the law ministry release said.
Of all the districts, Dhaka district sub-registrar offices have earned the highest amounts in revenue in both March and April, which is Taka 219, 68, 26,671 and Taka 99, 46, 61,446.
