Fortis SC, Farashganj split point in BCL
DHAKA, June 1, 2021 (BSS)- Fortis Sporting Club and old Dhaka outfit Farashganj Sporting Club split point when their match ended in a tame goalless draw in the lone second round match of the Bangladesh Championship League football held today at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.
In the day’s proceeding, both the teams got several scoring chances but failed to convert any of those into a goal.
Fortis Sporting Club will play their next match against NoFeL Sporting Club scheduled to be held on Friday (June 4) while Farashganj Sporting Club will face Swadhinata Krira Sangha on Saturday (June 5). Both the matches will be held at the same venue.
Wednesday’s matches: Swadhinata Krira Sangha vs Victoria Sporting Club at Bangabandhu National Stadium at 4 pm and Dhaka Wanderers Club vs Agrani Bank Limited Sporting Club at Kamalapur Stadium at 4 pm.
