BHF EC’s meeting tomorrow
DHAKA, June 1, 2021 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) will sit tomorrow (Wednesday) to discuss some important agendas in an executive committee’s meeting, including the much-awaited Premier Hockey League issue.
The BHF president and Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat will preside over the meeting to be held at Falcon Hall of Bangladesh Air Force at 12 pm.
Talking to BSS today, BHF acting general secretary Mohammad Yousuf informed that they would discuss different agendas including franchise league, national youth hockey and premier hockey league in the meeting.
Yousuf said apart from those agendas the meeting of the executive also discussed how to make memorable of BHF’s former general secretary late Shamsul Bari for his great contribution in the country’s hockey.
When asked whether there is any development of premier league issues, the BHF acting general secretary said the federation is ready to roll the league and the BHF president would sit with presidents and general secretaries of all the participating clubs soon in this regard.
It was learnt that a date may be set at tomorrow’s meeting for the president of the BHF to discuss the start of the league with the presidents, general secretaries or representatives of the clubs of the Premier League.
