CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 1, 2021 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged arms peddler with two pistols, two one shooter guns, three magazines and five rounds of bullet from Chapainawabganj sadar upazila last night.
The arrested was identified as Md. Sohag, 20, of Adipur village under Borgachi union of Bholahat upazila in the district.
Acting on secret information, an operation team of the RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in Moharajpur Mango Market area under the upazila around 10.15 pm and arrested Sohag with the arms and ammunition, RAB sources said.
Later, the arrested person was handed over to the Sadar Thana police with a case.
