Abu Bakar joins Bridges Division as secretary
Dhaka, May 31, 2021 (BSS) – Md Abu Bakar Siddique today joined the Bridges Division as the secretary and the Bangladesh Bridges Authority as the executive director.
Prior to joining the Bridges Division, he served as the chairman of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation, said a press release of the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry.
Abu Bakar Siddique is an officer of the ninth batch of the BCS administration cadre.
In his long career, he served in different capacities of the Ministry of Public Administration, the Ministry of Health and Family Planning, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, the Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Ministry, the Housing and Public Works Ministry and the Home Ministry.
