Journo’s brother Rahim dies

CHATTOGRAM, May 31, 2020 (BSS)–Abdur Rahim, brother of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha’s bureau chief Kalim Sarwar, died at a city hospital today at the age of 67.

Rahim, former councillor of Chattogram City Corporation, left behind two sons, a daughter, wife and a host of relatives to mourn his death.

He will be buried at his family graveyard at KB Aman Ali Road under Bakalia area after a Namaz-e-Janaza around 7:30 pm.

Meanwhile, Chattogram Press Club president Ali Abbas and General Secretary (GS) Chowdhury Farid, president of Chattogram Union of Journalists (CUJ) Mohammad Ali and GS M Shamsul Islam among other different socio-cultural organizations, expressed deep condolence at the death of the journalist’s brother.

Family sources said late Rahim was admitted to Chattogram Metropolitan Hospital on May 25. He was shifted to Agrabad Ma-o-Shisu Hospital after deterioration of his condition.

He was suffering from various physical complications, including kidney along with Corona complications.
