RAB arrest 21 for taking and dealing drugs in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 23, 2018 (BSS): Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-5
along with an executive magistrate arrested 21 persons and gave them
imprisonment on different terms for taking and trading drugs on
Sunday.
RAB said, as part of the anti-drug drives an operation team of RAB
from Chapainawabganj camp along with executive magistrate Md Saiful
Islam conducted a number of drives at different drug spots in
Chapainawabganj sadar upazila from morning till 9.30 pm on Sunday and
arrested 21 persons.
RAB also recovered 49 bottles of contraband
Indian phensidyl, 85 pieces of yaba tablet, 950 grams of hemp and
2,500 litres of local wine allegedly from their possession.
Later the arrested persons were given imprisonment on different terms.
