Training for BADC’s operators, field men begins in Gaibandha
GAIBANDHA, May 31, 2021(BSS) – A three-day training for the operators and field men of Bangladesh Agricultural Development Cooperation (BADC) began at its training center in the district town on Sunday.
BADC has arranged the training for its operators and field men to enhance their professional capacity building and do their duties properly under the “Maintenance of Water Management Irrigation and Skill Enhancement”project.
Executive Engineer of BADC here Chittaranjon Roy presided over the inaugural session of the training.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md. Abdul Matin addressed the function as the chief guest while Superintendent Engineer of BADC spoke as main resource person.
Abdul Matin said there is no alternative for training to enhance the work capacity of any staff in any department.
Training plays an important role for the employees as it has represented a good opportunity to grow their basic knowledge and improve their job skills for becoming more effective in the workplace, he added.
The DC also urged the participants to complete the training successfully and apply the knowledge that acquired from the training in workplaces to meet the need-base demand of the service receivers.
Assistant Engineer Imrul Kayes Mirza Kiron, Sub-assistant Engineer Md. Samiul Islam Parvez and other officials were present on the occasion.
A total of 30 operators and field men of the corporation are taking part in the training.
