BAF chief gives directions to contingent members for Central African Republic

DHAKA, May 30, 2021 (BSS) -Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) is on the verge of replacing BANAMUHU-1 contingent’s total 125 personnel at United Nations Mission in Central African Republic (MINUSCA).

Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat today gave important advices to the members of contingent at Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Base Bashar in city’s Tejgaon area, said a press release.

The Chief of Air Staff advised peacekeepers to discharge their duties with honesty, professionalism and sincerity and bring reputation for BAF as well as for the country.

Thereafter, he participated in a special munajat arranged for success of the contingent.

Among others, Principal Staff Officers, Air Officers Commanding of Dhaka area, senior BAF officers of Air Headquarters and Bases were present on the occasion.

Mentionable that, total 125 members of this contingent are proceeding to MINUSCA, CAR where BAF deployed three Armed Version MI-171 helicopters equipped with Night Vision System with necessary ground support equipment.
