YBCF working for welfare of people: Seema Hamid

DHAKA, May 30, 2021 (BSS) – Chief patron of Youth Bangla Cultural Foundation (YBCF) Seema Hamid has said members of the organisation are working for wellbeing of common people.

“The Youth Bangla Cultural Foundation will continue its wellbeing activities in future to make extremely poor people self-reliant on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” she said.

Addressing an assistance providing programme under Re-silent and Dream Cottage project yesterday, Seema Hamid said that the YBCF has been working on heritage, culture of the country and wellbeing for common people since long.

She, also wife of State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid, said, “Our target is to stand beside destitute and helpless people of the country with our small initiatives.”

She handed over a rickshaw to Ahsan Ullah at Chouddogram upazila of Comilla district through the Re-silent and Dream Cottage project.

Among others, Dilara Zaman, member of the advisory council, advisors Sharmili Ahmed and Shawkat Hossain, president Muna Chowdhury, vice president Shimul Mustafa, general secretary Aman Reza, joint general secretary Farzana Raushan, organizing secretaries Samia Afrin, Masuda Bijli and Shipon Mitra, office secretary Taslima Jhumur and assistant office secretary Milon Hossain were present.
