28982 disable people get allowance in Jamalpur
JAMALPUR, May 29, 2021 (BSS) – Social Service Department have brought 28982 disable people under social safety net in the district as each of the beneficiary get TK 750 per month as allowance.
Sources said 8266 physically challenged people of Jamalpur Sadar Upazila, 3811 of Madarganj, 3738 of Melandah, 4672 people in Islampur, 3883 people in Sarishabari, 2566 people in Dewanganj and 2046 people in Bakshiganj came under this safety net programme.
Deputy Director of Social Service Department, Raju Ahmed said each of the beneficiary get TK 750 per month as allowance.
