Night guard killed in Bogura
BOGURA, May 28, 2021 (BSS) – A night watchman was slaughtered to death by some unidentified miscreants at Sujabad Uttarpara Madrasa in Shajahanpur upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased was identified as Joynal Abedin ,70, son of the late Mirbox of Khottapara village in the upazila.
Being informed police rushed to the spot and recovered his body from a classroom of the madrasa where Joynal worked as a night watchman, said Faisal Mahmud, additional superintendent of police (SP) of Bogura Sadar Circle
The reason behind the murder is still unknown, he informed after visiting the spot.
“The body was sent to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (Shajimek) Hospital for autopsy,” he said, adding that the investigation is going on in this regard.
