Bashundhara extends winning run in women’s football
DHAKA, May 27, 2021 (BSS) – Holders Bashundhara Kings extended their
winning run as they beat Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan College Sporting Club by
a solitary goal held today at Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
After the barren first half, Sheuli Azim scored the all-important
goal for Bashundhara Kings in the 49th minute of the match from a
penalty.
The day’s win saw, Bashundhara Kings improved their tally with 12
points from four matches while Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan College Sporting
Club remained at their previous credit of nine points playing the same
number of outings.
Bashundhara Kings will play their next match against Cumilla United
Club on May 31 while Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan College Sporting Club face
Jamalpur Kacharipara Akados on June 1. Both the matches will be held
at the same venue.
