2 alleged drug peddlers held with hemp
RAJSHAHI, May 26, 2021 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 39-kg ganja conducting a drive in Natore on Tuesday evening.
The arrested persons were identified as Muhammad Alauddin, 22, son of Abdul Alim, and Ridoy Hossain, 19, son of Raja Mian, both hailed from Cumilla district.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in Madrasha More area in Natore Sadar Upazila and arrested them after searching a pickup van at 8.30 pm, RAB sources said this morning.
The pickup was also seized.
Later, the arrested persons along with the seized goods were handed over to police.
A case was filed in this connection.
