One more die of Covid-19 in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, May 21, 2021 (BSS)- One more person of Chapainawabganj died of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours raising the total number of deaths in the district to 23.
Civil Surgeon of Chapainawabganj Dr. Jahid Nazrul Chowdhury confirmed this.
On the other hand, 72 more persons were reported positive for COVID-19 during the last 24 hours raising the total number of corona positive cases in the district to 1,216, the civil surgeon added.
He further added that the results of 118 samples reached the CS office from Rajshahi Medical College Hospital PCR lab last night and of them, 51 persons were detected as positive for COVID-19.
Besides, 21 persons have been detected as Corona positive locally in the Antigen Rapid Test, he further said.
