BARC gets Independence Award 2021
DHAKA, May 20, 2021 (BSS) – Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC) has conferred with independence award 2021 for its outstanding and glorious contribution to agricultural research and training.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today awarded the BARC as an organization and nine other distinguished personalities with the award at her official residence Ganabhaban here.
BARC’s Executive Chairman Dr Sheikh Mohammad Bakhtiar received the award on behalf of the organisation.
BARC was founded in 1973 following directives of the then president and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
