RAJSHAHI, May 19, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 3,93,584 people received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines in the city and eight districts of Rajshahi division since the nationwide second dose vaccination began on April 8.
Of them, 4,612 people including 1,847 females took the second jab today, Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder, Divisional Director of Health services, told BSS today.
He said 438 including 196 females received vaccines in Rajshahi city and 1,436 people including 547 females in Rajshahi district, 664 including 273 females in Chapainawabganj, 70 including 29 females in Natore and 444 people including 183 females in Naogaon have got the vaccines today.
Apart from this, a total of 231 persons including 95 females got vaccines in Pabna, 550 including 238 females in Sirajganj, 380 including 150 females in Bogra and 399 including 136 females in Joypurhat today received the vaccines, he added.
