DNCC fines 3.12 lakh for health rules violation
DHAKA, May 17, 2021 (BSS) – A fine of Tk 3.12 lakh was levied in 20
cases by the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) for violation of the
ban announced by the government to prevent the spread of corona virus,
violation of license permit and stocking expired food.
Today, the mobile court headed by Executive Magistrate Md Zulkar
Nayn in Zone 1 of DNCC fined 1 thousand taka in 2 cases and the mobile
court led by Executive Magistrate ASM Safiul Azam in Zone 2 fined 51
thousand taka in 6 cases, said a release issued here.
Executive Magistrate Md Rifat Ferdous in an operation in Zone 3
realised Tk 20,000 in 1 case. Also, Tk 2.15 lakh was realised as fine
in 8 cases in the mobile court headed by Executive Magistrate Mohammad
Abdul Hamid Mia in the same area.
A fine of Tk 16,000 was levied in three cases in the mobile court
headed by Executive Magistrate Sajia Afrin in Area No 6 and Tk 9,000
in two cases in the Mobile Court headed by Executive Magistrate Md
Abed Ali in Area No 6, said the release.
During this time, public awareness messages were spread through
loudspeaker, hand sanitizers and masks were distributed and people
were advised to abide by the health rules and regulations as directed
by the government.
