Ministries, divisions urged to maintain austerity in procurement
DHAKA, May 17, 2021 (BSS) – The Finance Division has urged all the
ministries and divisions to maintain more austerity in their necessary
procurement.
The Finance Division in its circular issued yesterday also urged
the ministries and divisions to properly follow the PPA and PPR in
government procurement as well as to ensure transparency in the
government procurement process.
It said the government has put highest priority to the health
sector, social safety net and economic management to face the impact
of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
