CHATTOGRAM, May 17, 2021 (BSS) – A Chattogram court placed Regent Hospital chairman Mohammad Shahed on a three-day remand in a fraud case.
Metropolitan Magistrate Mehanaz Rahman passed the order after holding a hearing in presence of Shahed.
Earlier, investigation officer of Doublemooring police station sought a seven-day remand, however, the court granted four-day remand, assistant commissioner (prosecution) Shahabuddin Ahmad told BSS.
On July 13, 2020, a case was filed against Shahed in Double Mooring police station in connection with embezzlement of Tk 91 lakh from Mega Motors.
