Week-long photo exhibition begins in Mymensingh
MYMENSINGH, May 17, 2021 (BSS) – A week-long photo exhibition began
today marking the homecoming day of Awami League President and Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, at Tarek Smriti Auditorium in the city.
Mayor of Mymensingh City Corporation Ikramul Haque Titu inaugurated
the photo exhibition with 40 rare photographs of the Prime Minister
Sheikh Hasina arranged with the initiative of Mymensingh City
Corporation this afternoon.
Titu said the foundation of Bangladesh’s prosperity was laid on the
homecoming day of Sheikh Hasina. Under her successful leadership,
Bangladesh has evolved from a least developed country (LDCs) to a
developing country, he added.
Mayor Titu hoped that the “Sonar Bangla” of Bangabandhu’s dream
could be turned into a developed state only under the leadership of
Sheikh Hasina.
Mymensingh Metropolitan Awami League President Ehteshamul Alam,
District Awami League General Secretary Moazzem Hossain Babul,
Mymensingh City Corporation Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Anwar
Hossain, Secretary Rajib Kumar Sarkar (Deputy Secretary), newly
appointed, Mymensingh City Corporation Chief Engineer Rafiqul Islam
Miah, councilors, leaders of various organizations and affiliated
bodies of Awami League, among others, were present.
