RAJSHAHI, May 17, 2021(BSS)–A total of 3,82,973 people received the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines in the city and eight districts of Rajshahi division since the nationwide second dose vaccination began on April 8.
Of them, 5,998 people including 2,353 females took the second jab today, Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder, Divisional Director of Health services, told BSS today.
He said 439 including 193 females received vaccines in Rajshahi city and 781 people including 279 females in Rajshahi district, 691 including 280 females in Chapainawabganj, 385 including 131 females in Natore and 958 people including 410 females in Naogaon have got the vaccines.
Apart from this, a total of 699 persons including 317 females got vaccines in Pabna, 1,026 including 383 females in Sirajganj, 579 including 195 females in Bogra and 440 including 165 females in Joypurhat today received the vaccines, he added.
