MANIKGANJ, May 16, 2021 (BSS) – The Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque said efforts to manufacture Covid-19 vaccine continue in the country to reduce its growing demand as the pandemic situation worsens day by day.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has already given her consent in this regard,” he said last evening while discussing an Eid reunion with the local government officials and political leaders at his Gorpar pleasure garden here.
“As the government has taken some precautionary measures to tackle the Covid-19 situation, so that the virus in our country is under control than the other developed countries in the world like the United State of America (USA), Europe and India,” the minister said, adding that the effort has been continuing to import vaccines from the USA and India.
