All set to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr in Netrakona
NETRAKONA, May 13, 2021 (BSS)- Allout preparations have been completed here to celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the greatest religious festivals of the Muslims, with religious fervor and solemnity through maintaining health guidelines amid Covid-19 pandemic situation.
The main Eid congregation (Jamaat ) will be held at Netrakona central Jam-e-Mosque at 9 am instead of the district central Eidgha maidan following instructions of the government due to the novel Coronavirus outbreak.
Chief Imam of the mosque Moulana Azizur Rahman will conduct the Jamaat.
The second Jamaat will be held at the mosque at 9.45am which will be conducted by Pesh Imam of the mosque Moulana Mustafa Kamal. The Third one will be held at the mosque at 10.15am. Assistant Imam of the mosque Moulana Kurshed Uddin Khan will led the Jamaat, Motuwali of the Netrakona central Jam-e-mosque managing committee Haji H R Khan Pathan Saki told BSS here today.
“All the three Eid Jamaats will be held through following government directives and taking other protective measures including maintaining social distancing, wearing masks and using sanitizers to prevent Coronavirus infection”, he said.
The other big Eid Jamaats will be held here at different mosques including Hazrat Shah Sultan Mazar Sharif mosque, Alia madrasha mosque, Miftaulum madrasha mosque and Borobazer Jam-e-mosque in the morning with abiding by the government instructions amid Covid-19 pandemic situation.
Deputy commissioner Netrakona Kazi Mohammad Abdur Rahman said, necessary preparations have been taken here so that the concerned mosque committees could arrange Eid Jamaats through abiding by the government directives and taking other protective measures properly amid the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
