9 more test positive for COVID-19 in Bhola
BHOLA, May 12, 2021 (BSS) – A total of nine more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in the district after testing 57 samples at Bhola 250-bed General Hospital COVID-19 laboratory.
“All of the infected people are the residents of Sadar upazila”, civil surgeon of the district Dr Syed Rezaul Islam told BSS, adding sixteen people recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in the district.
The total number of infected people in the district stood at 1,829 while the number of recovery cases at 1,570, the civil surgeon said.
A total of 25 persons have so far died of COVID-19 in the district, he added.
