Khalid distributes foods among distressed people
Mymensingh, May 9, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, MP distributed different food items among 600 distressed people as gift of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at district Shilpakala Academy this afternoon.
Mymensingh district administration organised the programme to assist the distressed and poor people during Corona pandemic situation.
Deputy Commissioner Md. Enamul Haque, City Mayor Ekramul Haque Teto, Zila Parishad Chairman Yusuf Khan Pathan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jahangir Alam and Additional Police Super Md. Shajahan were present.
Each beneficiary received 10kg rice, 1kg pulse, 1kg onion,1kg potato, 1kg soyabin oil, and one packet semai.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for giving them essential food items during ongoing lockdown.
Khalid said Prime Minister has taken pragmatic steps to prevent Covid-19 spread. He also urged all people to abide by health guidelines.
