DHAKA, May 07, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra artiste, founding member of the Bangladesh Rabindra Sangeet Shilpi Sangstha and eminent music composer, Anup Bhattacharya.
In a condolence message, he prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Anup Bhattacharya died of old age complications while undergoing treatment at a city hospital on Thursday evening at the age of 77.
