DHAKA, May 07, 2021 (BSS) – Advocate Maulana Shahinur Pasha Chowdhury, the legal affairs secretary of now dissolved Hefazat-e-Islam’s central committee, has been taken to Brahmanbaria court today in a sabotage case.
The information was given in a press release of The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the police.
Hefazat leader Pasha Chowdhury, also a former lawmaker from Sunamganj-3 constituency (Jagannathpur and South Sunamganj), has been shown arrested in a case of sabotage and violence in Brahmanbaria.
A team of CID, Dhaka, arrested him from Bankalapara in Sylhet city around 12:45 am on Thursday.
