6 more test positive for COVID-19 in Bhola
BHOLA, May 6,2021(BSS)–A total of six people tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in the district after testing 93 samples at Bhola 250-bed General Hospital COVID-19 laboratory.
Of the total positive cases, five are in Sadar upazila and one in Tajumuddin upazila of the district.
With the new infection, the total number of infected people in the district stood at 1,797 while the number of recovery cases at 1,453, said civil surgeon Dr Syed Rezaul Islam.
A total of 24 persons have so far died of COVID-19 in the district, he said, adding 16 patients recovered from the disease.
He urged all to follow the health rules strictly to prevent the spread of the lethal virus.
