CHAPAINAWABGANJ, May 6, 2021 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested six people for gambling and taking drugs from Chapainawabganj sadar upazila in the early hours of today.
On secret information, an operation team of the RAB-5 from Rajshahi conducted a raid in a house of one Md. Tanvir Ahmed Sagar at Dariapur Eidgahpara under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila around 12.45 am and arrested them red-handed while they were gambling and taking drugs, RAB sources said.
RAB also seized two sets of playing cards, hemp, five mobile phones and Taka.7,145 from their possession.
Later, the arrested were handed over to the Chapainawabganj Sadar Thana Police.
A case was also filed with the police station in this connection.
