221 freedom fighters get PM’s Eid gifts in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, May 3, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 221 freedom fighters under the Chattogram City Unit Command of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad have been given Eid gifts of the Prime Minister (PM) as the country is reeling from coronavirus outbreak.
Additional deputy commissioner (general) SM Zakaria distributed the gift items as the chief guest at the Muktijoddha Sangsad office at Darul Fazal Market in the city on Monday at the instruction of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mominur Rahman.
Each packet of Eid gifts include – 10 kg of rice, one kg of sugar, two liters of soybean oil, five packets of semai and one lungi.
Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Chattogram City Unit Commander Mozaffar Ahmed presided over the distribution function while Deputy Commander Shahidul Haque Chowdhury Syed attended the function as special guests.
Officials of Chattogram district administration, all the Thana Commanders, Deputy Commanders, Assistant Commanders, children of Bir Muktijoddha and Bir Muktijoddha under Nagar Muktijoddha Sangsad were present on the occasion.
