BAF continues humanitarian assistance in Corona pandemic

DHAKA, May 02, 2021 (BSS)- Marking the celebration of Golden Jubilee of Independence, Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) is continuing its various humanitarian activities including distribution of relief goods, free medical services and Covid-19 vaccines to the general people through different BAF Bases during Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

Under the direction of Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc, relief materials were distributed among the 508 needy and poor families of the adjacent areas of BAF Base Bangabandhu, Kurmitola, Dhaka, today, an ISPR release said today.

Relief materials were distributed in presence of Officer Commanding of Administration Wing of BAF Base Bangabandhu including other BAF Officers by following proper hygiene rules and maintaining the provision of social distancing.

Besides, relief materials were also distributed among the poor and helpless families of the adjacent areas of BAF Base Paharkanchanpur, Tangail. Officer Commanding of Maintenance Wing of BAF Base Paharkanchanpur including other BAF Officers were present during the relief distribution.

Bangladesh Air Force is continuing to provide free medicine and healthcare services through Covid-19 Primary Symptom Diagnosis and Counseling Center and Special Medical Camps at various BAF Bases as well as providing humanitarian assistance to the general people during the Corona pandemic.
