Khasru inaugurates Krishak League’s paddy harvesting program in Netrakona
NETRAKONA, May 2, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for Social Welfare and valiant Freedom Fighter Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru, MP, today inaugurated a Boro paddy harvesting program of Bangladesh Krishak League at village Koulathi under Barhatta upazila of Netrakona district.
Responding to the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to stand beside the farmers during the Coronavirus pandemic, Bangladesh Krishak League central, district and upazila committees jointly arranged the paddy harvesting program in the rural area to assist the farmers for harvesting their ripen Boro paddy timely and quickly.
A group of workers and leaders of Bangladesh Krishak league led by its president Samir Chandra Chando and general secretary Umme Kulsum Smriti, MP, joined the paddy harvesting network and harvested ripen Boro paddy on 120 decimal land of the farmer Ruhul Amin of the aforesaid village Koulathi following health guidelines amid Covid-19 pandemic.
Speaking on the occasion, the state minister said the workers and leaders of Awami League and its associate bodies including Krishak League have stood beside the farmers across the country during the crisis of Coronavirus pandemic following directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to help the small and marginal farmers for harvesting their ripen Boro paddy timely without facing any problem including farm-laborer-crisis problem.
