Indonesia’s Mamuju power plant built by Chinese firm achieves full-load
trial operation

BEIJING, July 21, 2018 (BSS/Xinhua) – China Railway 11 Bureau Group Co.,
Ltd. announced on July 18 that the No.1 unit of the Indonesian Mamuju 2x25MW
coal-fired power plant project built by the group had completed 168-hour
continuous stable operation with a load rate of 95.5 percent, marking the
plant’s entry into trial operation.

The Mamuju power plant project is located in Mamuju, West Sulawesi
province of Indonesia. It is an important project of China Railway 11 Bureau
Group in Indonesian market.

Since the project started on October 26, 2015, the company have overcome
difficulties such as lack of local resources, high temperatures and ensured
the completion of the project stage by stage on time. On August 15, 2017,
installation and commissioning operations of the main project was
successfully completed.

It’s learned the power plant is the only power plant in West Sulawesi.
After it is put into operation, it will effectively alleviate the local power
shortage and greatly promote local social and economic development.
