Abducted girl rescued in Pirojpur
BARGUNA, April 29, 2021 (BSS) – Police rescued an abducted minor girl and arrested her kidnaper from Pirojpur district this morning.
The abductor is identified as Md Rajib, a resident of Dakshin Pashchim Amtali village of Amtali upazila in Barguna district.
Officer-in-Charge of Amtali Police Station Md Shah Alam Howlader said Rajib abducted the 11 years old girl on April 4. Victim’s father filed a case with Amtali Police Station on April 16 in this connection. The girl was sent to Barguna General Hospital for forensic test.
On information, police conducted a raid in Pirojpur Sadar Police Station area at around 11 am and rescued the minor girl.
