DHAKA, April 27, 2021 (BSS) – Bangladesh government has approved emergency use of the Russian COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V.
“We have given approval for emergency use of Sputnik V vaccine in the country… we are expecting that the vaccine (Sputnik V) may arrive in Bangladesh in May this year,” Maj Gen Mahbubur Rahman, Director General of Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA), told BSS today.
After the approval of Drug Administration, purchasing committee of the health ministry will start processing to bring the Sputnik V vaccine in the country, he said.
