RAJSHAHI, April 26, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 2,58,265 people received second dose of COVID-19 vaccines in the city and all eight districts of Rajshahi division since April 8.
Of them, 14,210 people including 5,603 females took the second jab today Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder, Divisional Director of Health services, told BSS today.
He said 1,884 including 806 females received vaccines in Rajshahi city and 962 people including 347 females in Rajshahi district, 798 including 267 females in Chapainawabganj, 1,105 including 451 females in Natore and 2,406 people including 962 females in Naogaon have been inoculated.
Besides, a total of 1,934 persons including 743 females got vaccines in Pabna, 1,418 including 569 females in Sirajganj, 2,823 including 1,114 females in Bogura and 860 including 344 females in Joypurhat today received the vaccines, he added.
On the other hand, a total of 6,52,665 people have been vaccinated with the first dose in all eight districts of the division till today since the countrywide vaccination programme began on February 7 last .
Of them, 1,79 people including 59 females were inoculated today, said Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder.
