Two drug peddlers held with yaba tablets in Panchagarh
PANCHAGARH, April 26, 2021 (BSS)- Members of Boda thana police, in a drive, arrested two drug peddlers along with yaba tablets from Damerhat area under Boda upazila of the district on Sunday night.
They were identified as Kabul Hossein, 50, and Harun Rashid, 24, of Dalalpara village under Sadar upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Boda thana Abu Sayed Chowdary said, after receiving a secret information, they conducted a raid in the area and nabbed the duo while they were taking preparation to sell the contraband drugs.
The arrested persons were produced before the Panchagarh Magistrate Court today. The court sent them to Jail after rejecting their bail plea, the OC added.
