Essential commodities distributed among transport laborers in Jhalokati
JHALOKATI, April 25, 2021 (BSS) – The district administration at a function today distributed essential commodities among 400 transport laborers in the town to mitigate their hardship amid the ongoing countrywide lockdown.
Amir Hossain Amu, a member of Awami League Advisory Committee, inaugurated the function held in circuit house premises through a video conference this noon.
Deputy Commissioner Johor Ali, Police Super Fatema Yasmin, Zila Parishad Chairman Md Shah Alam, general secretary of Jhalokati chapter AL Khan Sifullah Panir and municipality mayor Liakot Ali were present.
Each of the laborers received 10 kgs of rice, 3 kg potato, one kilogram bean and 500 gram oil at the function.
