KHULNA, April 25, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 71,485 people got the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine as 6,765 more people were inoculated today with the dose in the district.
A total of 6,765 people received COVID-19 vaccines in the district today since the second dose vaccination campaign launched on April 8.
Of them, 2,769 people from the city corporation area took the vaccine and 3,996 people from nine upazilas of the district received the second jab, said Khulna civil surgeon Dr Niaz Mohammad.
A total of 71,485 people including 45,649 male and 25,836 females received second dose of corona vaccine in the city and the district so far.
“The vaccination is carrying out at two hospitals in Khulna city and nine upazila hospitals in the district,” the civil surgeon said.
Besides, the first dose of coronavirus inoculation is continuing in Khulna at two public hospitals and nine upazila health complexes. A total of 693 people today received their first dose of the vaccine, said Dr Niaz Mohammad.
