10 more test positive for COVID-19 in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, April 25, 2021 (BSS)- A total of 10 more people were tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours raising the total number of infections to 946 in the district.
Chapainawabganj Civil Surgeon office received the result of 27 samples last night from Rajshahi Medical College Hospital Lab in which nine people were detected positive, said Dr. Jahid Nazrul Chowdhury, civil surgeon (CS) of the district.
Another was detected positive for the lethal virus while testing a rapid antigen test at Gomostapur Upazila Health Complex, the health official added.
“The person came to the health complex on Saturday with corona symptoms for testing and was detected positive. Earlier on April 18 last, he came here from India,” he further said.
A total of 15 people have so far died of Covid-19 and 816 infected people have recovered from the deadly disease in the district, the CS office sources said, adding : “The total number of corona infected people is 115, including the newly detected 10 patients, in the district.”
