DHAKA, April 24, 2021 (BSS) – A team of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), headed by newly-elected president Faruque Hassan, has paid tributes to the Rana Plaza collapse victims.
The team members placed wreaths on the graves of the victims at the Juraingraveyard in Dhaka today on the eighth anniversary of the Rana Plaza collapse.
They also offered prayers for the departed souls.
BGMEA director Mohiuddin Rubel, Tanvir Ahmed, Md. Khasru Chowdhury, Abdullah Hill Rakib, Rajiv Chowdhury, industrialists and senior BGMEA officials, among others, were present.
