11 held for gambling in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, April 24, 2021 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested 11 people for gambling from Chapainawabganj sadar upazila last night.
RAB said, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in the district contractors’ office at Swarupnagar in the town and arrested the men red handed as they were gambling.
RAB also seized an LED television, two sets of playing cards, 10 mobile phones and Taka 83,055 from their possession.
Later, the arrested people were handed over to Chapainawabganj Sadar Thana Police.
A case was filed with the police station in this connection.
