Dry weather likely

DHAKA, April 23, 2021 (BSS)- Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted dry weather with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours ending at 9 am on Saturday.

“Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country until early tomorrow,” said a met office press release issued here today.

Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the release added.

The maximum temperature was recorded 36.0 degrees Celsius on Thursday at Rangamati and Feni in Chattogram division while today’s minimum temperature 16.8 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.

The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded 10 mm at Tetulia in Rangpur division.

The sun sets at 6.24 pm today and rises at 5.30 am tomorrow in the capital.
