RAJSHAHI, April 22, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 2,05,860 people received second dose of COVID-19 vaccines in the city and all eight districts under Rajshahi division since April 8.
Of them, 14,212 people including 5,511 females took the second jab today Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder, Divisional Director of Health services told BSS today.
He said 1,085 including 414 females received vaccines in Rajshahi city and 1,493 people including 627 females in Rajshahi district, 854 including 333 females in Chapainawabganj, 1,579 including 657 females in Natore and 2,302 people including 930 females in Naogaon have been inoculated.
Besides, a total of 2,053 persons including 762 females got vaccines in Pabna, 1,761 including 653 females in Sirajganj, 2,334 including 816 females in Bogura and 848 including 319 females in Joypurhat today received the vaccines, he added.
On the other hand, a total of 6,48,879 people have been vaccinated with the first dose in all eight districts of the division till today since the countrywide vaccination programme began on February 7.
Of them, 1,385 people including 527 females were inoculated today, said Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder.
