LAXMIPUR-ROAD-ACCIDENT
2 killed in Laxmipur road accident
LAXMIPUR, April 21, 2021 (BSS) – Two people, including an
auto-rickshaw driver, were killed as a pickup van and CNG
auto-rickshaw collided head-on in Laxmipur district today.
The accident took place around 3.30 pm near the Tayyab Chowdhury
Pol under Tewariganj union in Sadar Upazila of the district.
The deceased were Abdus Sattar Majhi, 65, of Char Matua village in
Tewarganj union and Swapan Hossain, 45, son of Rafiq of the same area.
Belal Hossain Majhi was injured in the accident.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Laxmipur Sadar Model Police Station Jasim
Uddin said police seized the pickup and auto-rickshaw.
