JUMUNA gets new executive body
SAVAR, April 21, 2021 (BSS) – Jahangirnagar University Model United
Nations Association (JUMUNA) announced a 20-member new executive body
for next one year.
Asiful Hoque Rafi of the Urban and Regional Planning department and
Mushfiqa Sultana of Journalism and Media Studies department have been
made president and general secretary respectively.
The committee was announced at a virtual event of 6th founding
anniversary celebration of the organization, said a press release.
National Information Officer and Head of the United Nations
Information Center M Moniruzzaman, advisers of JUMUNA Prof Abdullah
Hel Kafi and Prof Bashir Ahmed, director of JU Teacher-Student Centre
(TSC) Prof Alamgir Kabir and Associate Prof Mohammad Tariqul Islam of
Government and Politics department were present at the programme,
among others.
Jahangirnagar University Model United Nations Association (JUMUNA)
is a student based organization that works for the intellectual and
creative development of JU students under the concept of United
Nations assemblies.
